Our open, modern, lodge-like cabin will leave you breathless! Upon arrival a flat, paved driveway will lead you to a parking pad at 3,400 ft elevation.

This newly-renovated, clean, open, spacious, VERY PRIVATE 3/2 cabin sits just above the Maggie Valley Country Club. Breathtaking views. The flat, paved driveway with large parking pad for four vehicles will have you wondering if you're even on a mountain.
This cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Smoky Mountains, Soco Falls, Cataloochee Ski Resort, and Lake Junaluska. We love the mountain views, the glimpses of the area black bears and elk, the golf course, the summer hummingbirds and fireflies, as well as enjoy close proximity to area conveniences. We hope you create bountiful memories at our cabin.
SPECTACULAR views from the grand deck. The cabin also has a three-season room with hot tub just off the deck where you can soak your stress away or sooth your sore muscles after a day of hiking/skiing/sightseeing. The cabin offers guests a wood-burning fireplace, a fire pit, a game room, washer & dryer, gas grill, WIFI, streaming SmartTVs in the living room and each bedroom.
THE SPACE
When you arrive, you will be greeted by the seclusion of the cabin. Once inside, you will enjoy an open-floor concept, grand windows, a massive fireplace, a cathedral ceiling, and amazing views. The GPS directions bring you up to Edgewater, BUT BE sure to notice where Edgewater splits and then take a right. You will see the posted sign that says, "Hillside Hideaway" with lots of pine straw along the flat, paved driveway.
We provide all basic amenities, but you will need to bring everything you require to have an amazing Mountain Cabin experience with you.

Opportunity to enjoy a breathtaking QUIET view off the deck with a hot cup of coffee or tea! Although the cabin is located on a semi-busy mountain, you will feel like you're the only one here. Very peaceful.
Modern, yet rustic, with a lodge-like feel, family/friends gatherings will be memorable. The primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed with a big-screen SmartTV with cable. There's a full kitchen with updated appliances; refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker.
We do have a Large Hot Tub in the three-season room with a view of the mountainside with complete privacy.

This property is not suitable for guests with mobility challenges. The home includes multiple stairs, uneven surfaces, and narrow doorways that may make accessibility difficult for those using wheelchairsorwalkers.
We are close to Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Teague’s Convenience Store, and several Dollar General stores so that you may stock up for your vacation. There’s wonderful hiking trails within a very short drive from Hillside Hideaway.
