Summary: The room was fairly clean except for hair in shower floor. The shower was awkwardly located against the center long wall which caused the water to spray the curtain and go onto the bathroom floor. I was concerned about falling outside of the shower so we used bath towels to wipe it up. I messaged the hotel desk via text and spoke directly with staff at 8:15am the next morning asking it be addressed and for maid service. They asked if I had the door hanger asking for maid service on the exterior door handle, which we did. After a long day out we came back to the same mess. We checked out early the next morning, a day early. This I'm guessing is a persistent issue because the room was very humid and had a bit of a musty smell. I have asthma so it was somewhat uncomfortable to breath. I rarely complain about any stay but thought folks should know. If they'd simply followed up after we made them aware, I would have said nothing. The location of the hotel was good and the bed was comfortable.
