Authentic Chinked Log Home with a view. Located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and is a great jumping off spot to all of the activities this area has to offer. House is a five minute walk from nearest trailhead. Opportunities for hiking, swimming, windsurfing, wine-tasting, and sightseeing are all within an hour or less drive.
Scenic opportunities are plentiful at our home. The covered decks offer views of the river and hillsides. It’s not uncommon to see eagles soaring above our back field looking for dinner. Several deer travel through our property regularly. Occasionally, we will see herd of elk move through. The Cape Horn trailhead is a 5 minute walk from the house and is a moderate 6.4 mile loop.
