This tropical 3 bedroom/2 bathroom oasis is nestled in Royal Palm Isles, the lovely Oakland Park enclave of Fort Lauderdale. It is the only neighborhood that has multiple parks (Easterlin County Park/Royal Palm Park/Stunson Nature Trail/Oakland Bark dog park) within walking distance, while downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beach are just minutes away by vehicle!

There are many perks throughout this updated home, including a beautiful kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops with a tasteful backsplash. The custom-made pantry room provides abundant storage areas. An open and spacious floor plan allows the kitchen, dining, and poolside den to all overlook the tranquil canal, lush landscaping, heated saltwater swimming pool, and adjoining hot tub. The back yard is completely fenced to keep any pooches secure in a safe environment. Its manicured front yard can be enjoyed for outdoor games {provided}, etc.

The large HEATED {November to May} saltwater swimming pool is set at a very comfortable mid-to-upper 80's temperature, not in the low-80's like most others ~ always ask before renting or your kids may refuse to get in the water. The hot tub sports numerous therapeutic jet cycles. Both the pool and hot tub have color-changing LED lights! Fun flotation devices, rafts, water toys, padded lounge chairs, beach chairs, beach towels, and beach bags are all provided. The pool deck boasts a spacious dining table with chairs, a brand-new Weber charcoal grill, and an outdoor shower. There are 5 Roku smart televisions with 124 cable channels at the home. Additionally, Xfinity "Flex" for streaming thousands of awesome shows/movies is available with your subscription and offers tons of free content/local channels. The property also provides free WiFi throughout it.

This home has a completely fenced back yard and is on a dead-end street with minimal traffic. Best of all, both the pool and hot tub are for private use only ~ NO "community" sharing with strangers! Plus, all the bedrooms and bathrooms have door locks for complete privacy. The primary bedroom {with king-size bed} has an en-suite and is on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms. The fully-equipped kitchen offers filtered water/ice, a dishwasher, disposal, microwave, toaster, blender, hand mixer, pancake griddle, George Foreman grill, air fryer, tea kettle, coffee maker, wine chiller/refrigerator, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, bake ware, assorted spices, cook books, etc. Additionally, there is a laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, sewing kit, hair dryers, 6 ceiling fans, basic office supplies, first aid kit, pool alarm, high chair, Pack 'n Play {upon 2-day advance request}, baby bath, toys, books, indoor/outdoor games, volleyball {for nearby/sandy/lakeside volleyball court}, and fishing poles. The property has been newly-painted throughout, and its spacious driveway can comfortably accommodate up to 3 vehicles.

Location: As stated, this property is located in Royal Palm Isles. For obvious privacy/security/safety reasons, we never disclose the property's street number to strangers over the Internet and/or schedule private interior showings. Be assured that the posted photographs are accurate, although may not reflect recent improvements. The full address is, of course, specified on the rental agreement. Please look up distances to points of personal interest {beaches, restaurants, attractions, airports, etc.} from the above neighborhood. Due to time constraints and the fact that we are not a concierge service, providing this information or personal recommendations for potential guests is just not possible. Please Note: This is a privately owned and managed home. It is not a condominium or apartment governed by HOA rules that strictly prohibit short-term renting. Private homes and villas in Florida subdivisions are also governed by HOA rules that strictly prohibit renting for less than 30 days. Also, some entire towns prohibit ALL short-term rentals. This property is NOT located in a subdivision and/or prohibited from renting short-term. There is a zero chance that you will be reported by a neighbor, visited by a code enforcement officer, and immediately evicted for renting our home illegally. We are LICENSED {all 5 required/current permit numbers available upon request} and fully-regulated by the City of Oakland Park/County of Broward/State of Florida/Department of Business & Professional Regulation. If an owner or manager asks you to pretend that you are a "friend" or "relative", walk away before you pay anything and find a LEGAL rental. This is for your own protection. It will help ensure that you have a great, hassle-free, and SAFE vacation.

HOLIDAY MINIMUM NIGHTS: There is a 4 NIGHT MINIMUM if a Federal holiday is included, INCLUDING check-out day. There is a 6 NIGHT MINIMUM if THANKSGIVING is included, INCLUDING check-out day. There is a 6 NIGHT MINIMUM from DECEMBER 23RD through JANUARY 1ST. Minimum Nights are Non-Negotiable.

HOLIDAY PREMIUMS: We add $50 {$100 if BOTH Christmas Eve or Day and New Year's Eve or Day are included} to EACH night of the reservation if it includes, INCLUDING check-out day, ANY Federal or Popular holiday. Popular holidays include Valentine's Day {$100 if BOTH Valentine's Day and Washington's Birthday are included}, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, etc. Again, this is for "EACH night of the reservation", NOT just the holidays. The above Holiday Premiums also apply if the reservation is part of a HOLIDAY WEEKEND whether the actual holiday is included or not. Holiday Premiums are also Non-Negotiable. However, they are waived on rentals of 30 nights or more. The posted rates do NOT include Holiday Premiums and are NOT reflected in the itemized total provided at booking due to a software issue with this site.

PET FEE: Dogs Only Allowed ~ Flat $50 Fee Per Dog. There is no limit on the amount of dogs, the size of dogs, the weight of dogs, or the breed of dogs. However, all dogs must be completely house-broken, totally flea-free, very well-behaved, and crated if/when necessary.

DISCOUNTS: Our best rates are those posted and are FIRM. We do not offer any "last minute" deals, specials, long-term discounts, or government/military discounts {although we love and appreciate those who serve!} other than those posted. Any requests for a rate reduction are permanently blocked from the system as spam and deleted. Accordingly, we kindly ask all travelers to please respect our posted rates. Thank you.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time {never earlier as a courtesy to our excellent cleaning staff} and check-out time is 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time, OR guest can choose a 6:00 P.M. check-in and a 1:00 P.M. check-out. The later option must be chosen BEFORE the rental agreement is drafted.

Wheelchair Accessibility ~ The entire house is conveniently on one level with no stairs. However, it does not have a walk-in bathtub or a roll-in shower. Therefore, this property is NOT officially wheelchair accessible.

Please be aware that this property has regular/complete/professional exterminating service. However, since it is ground-level surrounded by abundant vegetation and located on the water in the hot/humid South Florida tropics with frequent rainfall, a bug may slip in one of the doors ~ particularly when there are several people constantly in and out of the property. Friendly, colorful iguanas are also occasional visitors. If there is a chance this may be a problem for you and/or any of your housemates, we kindly suggest booking upper-floor hotel rooms instead. {Be sure to check the hotel reviews before booking, as most are currently experiencing a severe housekeeping shortage}.
